He wasy saying KAL PEDTHU ( meaning legs are aching after standing in the queue for so long). KVJ immediately responded as : KAL PONALUM (even if the legs ached) ARAI KIDAITHATHE (rooms could be managed) Pun Part KAL also menas 1/4 or one quarter while ARAI also means 1/2 or half.
